Ever since I was a kid I dreamed of winning a toy store shopping spree.  They had a bunch of different kinds that we would sign up for.   $10,000 dollars to spend in one day, or my favorite load as much as you could into a shopping carts in 2 minutes.  I would sit up at night and go over strategies.  Would I just run up and down the aisle with my arms flailing and push toys into the cart or be specific and attack departments based on price, I mean the Nintendo Power Glove and Laser Tag were on my Christmas wish list.

Well needless to say I never did win that shopping spree and my parents never did buy me Laser Tag.  Fast forward 30 years and I was able to be a part of something that reminded me of that old silly dream I had as a kid and it was all thanks to The Marine Corps Reserves Toys For Tots program.  If you’re not familiar with this organization it’s pretty awesome.  You see The Marines have been fulfilling the dreams of millions of less fortunate children each Christmas going back to 1947. Thanks to countless volunteers and thousands of donations, Toys for Tots has made sure that kids right here in central Wisconsin have had a toy to open on Christmas Day.

They invited us to come along and help pick out toys for kids in the area.

As you will see in this video I had a blast, but just imaging how much fun kids are going to have playing with these toys?

Please donate to Toys For Tots you have until Dec. 11th.  Click HERE to donate or to find a toy drop off location.  Every dollar and every toy will go towards kids here in central Wisconsin.
