Free Water Ski Shows

The Central Wisconsin Water Ski Show team is performing free water ski shows at 6 p.m. every Sunday evening on Lake Wausau. The shows are at DC Everest Park located at the end of South Third Avenue and are performed through August, 29th. The last show of the season is after the Labor Day Parade, Monday, September 6th.. Shows on Lake DuBay start Thursday, July 1 and are every Thursday at 6 p.m. through August 26. Take the DB exit off I 39 and follow the signs

Big Flats Fire Department Annual Street Dance

The Big Flats Fire Department will be holding our Annual Street Dance on Saturday August 7th from 2:00 P.M. till 12:00 A.M. in the Big Flats Fire Station at 1104 County C.Free Addmission. Horse Shoe Tournament starts at 3:00 P.M. please be early for registration.Fire and Ice DJ service from 2:00 P.M.- 6:00P.M., and the Austin Healy Band from 7:00 P.M.- 12:00 A.M. Great food, cold beverages, and fun for all ages. Mayjor prize, and Chinese Raffle tickets are available at the door. Door Prizes too. Mayjor Prize Raffle Tickets can also be purchased from Big Flats Fire Department Personel.

The Nekoosa Fire Department will hold their annual street dance on Saturday August 14th from 4:00 P.M.-11:30 P.M.in the back parking lot of the Nekoosa Fire Station at 951 Market St. Free admission. Entertainment by Life's A Dance DJ service from 4:00-7:00, and the Spicy Tie Band from 7:30-11:30 P.M. Great food, cold beverages, and fun for all ages. Cash raffle tickets available at the door or from Nekoosa Firefighters. Door prize tickets sold at the street dance.

Rain or shine, Day of Action is the place to be for free family activities, door prizes, food and more. United Way will host Play for Action volleyball tournament and Road Rally. Also at Day of Action, Soup Or Socks will hold a CAN Sculpture Contest starting at 10 a.m. Registration information can be found on our Web site.
